I created this site to share some of my research into the various Holmes / Holms / Homes families in Ireland and Scotland. I started this project initially in pursuit of my own Homes ancestry, but as I have become involved in the Holmes DNA project it has evolved into more of a One Name Study. The documents on this site include over 300 pages of my personal research notes. They are working documents and are updated frequently. I am sharing them in an effort to help other researchers and promote collboration.
